We think that a good holiday, particulaly a Cornish holiday should be as relaxing as possible, so to help you slow to the pace of the Cornish locals we decided you should have as much space to relax in as possible, therefore we have limited the number of tipi's and yurts we have in the field at any one time. That way we will never be crowded. This year we have a single yurt and 3 tipis. The yurt is equiped to the highest standard with a smaller yurt (Squirt) as an additional private space. The tipis are 16ft diameter and built along authentic North American lines, this year we've removed the wooden floors on feedback that it was nicer to be in touch with the ground. We've kept the rugs and added ground sheets, so they are nice and dry and cosy. The tipis are arranged in a semi-circle around a central fire. Each can have various configurations, sleeping up to 6 comfortably. All holiday accommodation is self catering and is available on a weekly basis form Staurday to Saturday. Each has their own basic cooking facilities along with a communal fire, Barbecue and eating areas. If you let us know in advance we can also arrange a weekly organic veg box. From easter this year we have available the amazing, newly finished, old tractor shed. The old tractor shed is finished to a high standard and is perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing time in Cornwall's beautiful west penwith. If you're bringing the kids and are not sure about staying in a tipi you can stay in the comfort of a Cornish granite building. Or perhaps the grandparents are coming too and want a few extra creature comforts. Either way we're glad to be able to offer you The Old Tractor Shed for 2009.
